Want to make your very own bottle lamp?
Why not pick up one of our bottle lamp making kits!
We have lots of options on cable colour, bulb holders and bulbs to personalise your own favourite bottle. Just select your choices from the drop down menus.
You will also get easy to follow instructions emailed to you to give it a go!

The kit will come with the plug and dimmer pre-wired so the only thing you will have to finish is the lamp holder at the top. If you are unsure of anything please ask and do not attempt any electrical work unless the appliance is unplugged and you are confident in what you are doing. If unsure just ask!

Once you have successfully emptied the contents of your bottle just measure the neck size as per photo below to determine an adequate bung size and away you go! We even have the glass drilling bit required for sale here so that all you need are basic DIY tools.

Care Instructions
All materials used are recycled or salvaged where possible. No lacquer or covering is used. The material is polished to a natural finish by hand and the products are designed to age over time.

Over time copper naturally changes colour. Transforming from a shiney brown/red colour to darker browns, then blues and finally greens after a number of years. When exposed to the natural elements copper develops this ‘patina’ which actually protects and preserves the metal underneath.

If you wish to clean the copper, we recommend some very fine wire wool or some P1000 or higher silicone carbide sandpaper both of which can be picked up from your local hardware shop. Please make sure the lamp is disconnected from the mains before cleaning. Please do not clean the copper effect lamp holder as its painted!
