Join award-winning designer-maker Emmet Bosonnet from Kopper Kreation for a relaxed, hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to transform a glass bottle, whiskey, gin, wine etc. into a fully working, beautifully finished lamp.
You’ll be guided step-by-step through the process: safely drilling your bottle, wiring it up, and adding your own creative touch with your choice of cable colour, bulb holder, and bulb.
All tools, materials, and expert tuition are provided, just bring a clean glass bottle and your imagination!

🕓 How long does the workshop last?
The session typically lasts around 2.5 to 3 hours, giving plenty of time to complete your lamp at a relaxed pace.
📍Where does it take place?
The workshop will be held at The Chocolate Factory, 26 King's Inn Street, Dublin 1, D01 P2W7. Full details and directions will be sent after booking.
⏰ What time should I arrive?
Please arrive about 10 minutes before the start time to get settled, grab a tea or coffee, and be ready to begin. We’ll start promptly so everyone can make the most of the session.
👥 How many people are in each class?
Each workshop is kept small and personal limited to 8 participants. This ensures everyone gets plenty of one-to-one guidance and time with Emmet throughout the session.
🍾 What kind of bottle should I bring?
Bring a clean, empty glass bottle whiskey, gin, or wine bottles work best. Avoid bottles with very large neck sizes or unusually shaped glass, as these can be difficult to drill.
💡 Do I need to bring anything else?
Just your bottle! All tools, electrical components, bulbs, cables, and safety equipment are provided. We’ll also have a selection of cable colours and fittings for you to choose from on the day.
🔌 Is it safe?
Yes! You’ll receive full safety instruction before using any tools, and Emmet will guide you through each step of the process. All finished lamps are electrically safety tested before you take them home.
🍾 What if my bottle breaks?
There’s a very small chance your bottle could crack or break during drilling it happens rarely, but glass can be unpredictable. Don’t worry though we always have spare bottles available, so you’ll still be able to complete your lamp and enjoy the full experience.
👩🔧 I’ve never done anything like this before — can I still join?
Absolutely. The workshop is beginner-friendly, and you’ll get plenty of one-to-one support. No prior experience is needed.
🎨 Can I personalise my lamp?
Yes! You can choose your own cable colour, bulb holder, and bulb style, so your finished piece suits your taste and space perfectly.
☕ Is there tea or coffee available?
Of course — There is a fully functional cafe on the ground floor and drinks are permitted in the workshop. Water will be provided free of charge.
👥 Can I come with a friend or group?
Definitely! The workshop is a fun, creative experience to share. If you’re booking as a group, please let us know so we can seat you together.
🧾 What’s included in the ticket price?
Your ticket includes all materials, use of tools, expert instruction, and your completed lamp to take home at the end.
🎁 Can I buy a ticket as a gift?
Yes! Workshop gift vouchers are available and make a great experience gift for birthdays, Christmas, or special occasions.
♿ Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes he venue is wheelchair accessible. If you have any access requirements, please let us know in advance so we can ensure everything is set up comfortably for you.
🚫 What if I can’t make it?
Tickets are non-refundable, but you may transfer your place to another person if you can’t attend. Please contact us in advance to arrange.

Terms & Conditions – Bottle Lamp Making Workshop
1. Booking & Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
Spaces are limited to 8 participants per class, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Bookings are non-refundable (see Section 4 for transfer policy).
2. Workshop Attendance
Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time to sign in and settle before we begin.
Late arrivals may miss essential safety instructions and may not be able to participate if the class has already started.
Participants must be aged 18 or over, unless otherwise stated.
3. What to Bring
Please bring one clean, empty glass bottle (whiskey, gin, or wine bottles work best).
Avoid bottles with very thick or unusually shaped glass, as these may be difficult to drill.
All other materials, tools, and equipment will be provided on the day.
4. Cancellations & Transfers
Tickets are non-refundable.
If you can’t attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person — please contact us at least 48 hours before the workshop to arrange.
In the unlikely event that Kopper Kreation must cancel or postpone the workshop (e.g. illness, low numbers, or unforeseen circumstances), participants will be offered either:
a) a full refund, or
b) the option to transfer to a future date.
5. Safety & Liability
All participants must follow the safety instructions provided by the workshop leader at all times.
Kopper Kreation reserves the right to refuse participation if a person’s behaviour poses a risk to themselves or others.
While every precaution is taken to ensure a safe experience, participation is at your own risk. Kopper Kreation cannot accept liability for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property.
6. Breakages
There is a very small chance that your bottle may crack or break during drilling. Spare bottles will be available so you can still complete your lamp. Kopper Kreation is not responsible for damage to personal bottles brought by participants.
7. Accessibility & Special Requirements
The venue is wheelchair accessible.
Please inform us in advance of any accessibility needs, medical conditions, or support requirements so we can make the necessary arrangements.
8. Photography & Promotion
Photos and videos may be taken during the workshop for promotional use by Kopper Kreation (social media, website, etc.).
If you prefer not to appear in photos, please let us know when you arrive.
9. Intellectual Property
All workshop content, materials, and designs remain the property of Kopper Kreation.
Participants may not reproduce, teach, or sell items based directly on the workshop design or content for commercial purposes without permission.
10. Agreement
By booking a place at the Bottle Lamp Making Workshop, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
